The AECC Clinic is equipped with 34 treatment rooms and an open upright MRI scanner. As part of our commitment to support the transformation of health and care services in Dorset, we also house one of Lewis-Manning’s Lymphoedema clinics and deliver NHS health checks.

Student Chiropractic Clinic

Our Student Chiropractic Clinic is run from the AECC Clinic building, as is one of the largest placement clinics in Europe. Our final year chiropractic students work under the supervision of our qualified chiropractic tutors to work to help diagnose and treat our patients. With 34 treatment rooms, the Student Chiropractic Clinic sees over 45,000 patients a year. See more information on our Student Chiropractic Clinic.

Qualified Chiropractic Clinic

Our Qualified Chiropractic Clinic, which is run by our team of highly skilled chiropractic professionals, is also located in the AECC Clinic building. All staff are fully qualified professionals registered with the GCC and offer 1-2-1 appointments. See more information on our Qualified Chiropractic Clinic.

Open Upright MRI

Our Open Upright MRI is one of only seven in the country. Unlike conventional scans, an upright MRI addresses challenges such as claustrophobia, flexibility constraints, and breathing issues, offering unique benefits to patients. See more information on how to refer for an MRI scan.

With clinical training at the heart of our health science courses, our campus contains some of the country’s most unique and specialist equipment. Alongside our Open Upright MRI we also use digital x-ray equipment, quantitative fluoroscopy and high-specification Samsung and AGFA ultrasound scanners.
